GOLDEN INSIGHT COACHING (for therapy services visit constantinakass.com)

COACHING: My goal as your coach is to partner with you to help you find your path to a prosperous and meaningful life, based on your values, beliefs, and aspirations. Coaching will also help you build self-confidence and strengthen your social-emotional wellbeing, which is often the key to success and to weathering life's challenges. As a coach, my focus is on working with clients – parents, families, adolescents, and expatriates – who are pursuing a life goal or making an adjustment during a time of transition. This includes managing emotions, stress, and social interactions, acclimating to new and sometimes challenging environments, and preparing for departure or repatriation. Coaching is goal- and outcome-driven. It differs from therapy in that coaching does not treat mental illness. My coaching sessions provide unique experiences tailored to each client. This may include applying some Cognitive Behavioral coaching techniques to provide you with a toolbox of strategies in order to maintain your mental health and wellness. I provide individual and group coaching worldwide virtually on a secure HIPPA compliant platform. Your first step is to send an email to DrKass@goldeninsightcoaching.com and request a complimentary 15 minute virtual introductory discussion. EXPATRIATES My dissertation research in Greece at a school with an International Baccalaureate Honors Program informs my approach to expat coaching. Moreover, my personal experience as an expat in Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Romania, and raising third culture kids (TCK) provides me with a source of continual, additional insights that have proven useful to helping other expats live their best lives abroad. BACKGROUND: COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL TECHNIQUES Cognitive Behavioral Therapy was created by Dr. Aaron T. Beck. I had the honor of meeting him and training at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was a highlight of my career to engage in a training role-play scenario with Dr. Beck himself. He emphasized the importance of individuals finding their passion, and for the therapist to "find out what lights them up inside." This inspires my approach with coaching to start off by understanding my clients goals and aspirations. EDUCATION Symbiosis Coaching USA, International Coach Certification: Certified Parenting Coach Certified Expatriate Coach Certified Adolescent Coach Certified Family Coach Loyola University Chicago, Chicago, IL, Ph.D. School Psychology December 21, 2002. The 16 Week Parent Group is interactive and the curriculum is designed to learn ways to connect, communicate and support your children. This group is for parents of children age 12 and younger. ADDITIONAL INTERESTS I am a strong advocate for individuals with special needs, and work to help them to live up to their fullest potential.
